The Kimball Theatre hosts both live performances and non-mainstream movies.
Formerly known as the Williamsburg Theatre, the Kimball hosts Williamsburg cultural stuff and shows movies you won't see at the main theaters. (For example, it was the only place anywhere near Williamsburg showing The Aristocrats.)
The theater itself is gorgeous. It's historical, but not Colonial-era historical.
It's not a theater you'll visit every weekend, but when you want to see a strange movie, you'll be glad it's here.
