The Polo Club isn't particularly fancy, despite its attempt at a polo club atmosphere. The food is a combination of salads, sandwiches, and burgers. Dependably good, but never spectacular.
It's not the sort of place you bring someone to showcase Williamsburg fare. But it is somewhere you go for a dependable (and cheap) lunch in a nice family sort of place.
The Summer Breeze Salad, essentially a huge fruit plate, is especially good.
Weekend mornings sometimes include a guy making balloon animals. This may be viewed as either a bonus or a deal-breaker.
