Inside: a very good seafood restaurant.
Outside: a taphouse grill (whatever that is).
She-crab soup (hint: pour the sherry on top). Excellent salads, sandwiches, pot pie, quiches, etc. Comically large sprigs of rosemary. A dessert menu that will warm the cockles of your heart. We have never walked away unhappy!
Lunch menu includes daily specials, as well as non-seafood such as Angus burgers and dishes featuring Virginia sausage and ham. Lunch items start around $10; dinner is quite a bit more (and quite honestly we have never dared try, not with Backfin so close).
The Taphouse is open April thru Homecoming, says the site.
