Williamsburg's favorite BBQ joint. Come for the pulled pork sandwiches, not for the ribs.
Pierce's is a bright orange building, visible from the highway. It serves up wonderful pulled pork sandwiches. They have ribs, too. But they're just okay. Get the sandwiches.
Pierce's sandwiches come with cole slaw. That is, they come with cole slaw inside the sandwich. That's the default. If you don't want the slaw, you have to explicitly say so. But try it with the slaw first. It's great.
Finally, their green beans are to die for. Southern-style, with pieces of pork. They're tender and you can tell yourself that you're having something healthy. (You're not, but you can tell yourself that.)
