Capitol
Website: www.history.org

The Capitol building is, in many ways, the birthplace of American government. Some of the earliest steps towards independence took place here.

The building itself is imposing, with the two legistlative houses represented literally by two seperate buildings, connected by a corridor.

The tour travels through both houses and includes more information than the typical "people did this here."
