Williamsburg Transportation Center
Website: www.ci.williamsburg.va.us

The Williamsburg Transportation Center is the hub for most forms of travel in, out, and around the city.

Unless you're borrowing a car while in town, or otherwise bumming off of friends, you'll need to stop by the Williamsburg Transportation Center.

The Center is an Amtrak stop, with direct service all the way up the East Coast to Boston. Nearly anywhere else can be reached by transferring in DC. Amtrak is a terrific way to get up to DC or Baltimore. It takes a little bit longer, but is much more relaxing than driving. Honestly, you don't want to drive to downtown DC.

If you would rather take the bus, Greyhound and Trailways both have stops at the Center.

In terms of getting around town, if you're renting a car, Colonial Rent-a-Car is also located right here.

Williamsburg's local bus service stops at the Center. And three different cab services are available: Yellow Cab of Williamsburg, Colonial Cabs of Williamsburg, and Williamsburg Taxi Service.
